Administrator
I never feel like I chose this career — I’ve always felt like it chose me.
Long before I ever became an administrator, I was just a granddaughter trying to help my grandfather through each day as he lived with Parkinson’s disease. I watched his world change slowly, piece by piece, and I learned what true patience really means. I saw how much it matters to help someone feel safe when their independence begins to slip away. I felt, in my bones, how deeply people need to be respected, understood, and treated with dignity.
Those years shaped me. They taught me that caregiving is not a job — it is a connection. It’s a promise to treat another human being with the same tenderness and devotion you would want for your own family. That understanding never left me.
After working in a larger facility, I realized how easily seniors can become invisible — just another name on a schedule, another room on a hallway. Care can start to feel like checklists instead of relationships. And I knew in my heart that I wanted something different.
That’s why I created Honey and Home — a small, peaceful home built intentionally around warmth, presence, and genuine care. A place where residents are seen, heard, and loved as individuals… where they don’t just live, but belong.
When I train my caregivers, I teach them the same way I cared for my grandfather — with heart first. Skill matters, of course, but compassion is what stays with people. It’s what they feel. It’s what they trust.
Our entire approach is grounded in three simple pillars:
Care — to truly know each resident, to understand their story, and care for them as a whole person.
Compassion — to listen deeply, to be gentle, and to show the same kindness you would want for your own family.
Dependability — to show up every day with integrity and presence, because consistency is what builds trust.
Families tell me all the time that Honey and Home feels different the moment they walk through the door. They feel the calm. They feel the steadiness. They feel the sincerity behind everything we do — because it’s real.
My goal is simple, but it’s everything to me: to create a home where our residents live with comfort and dignity, and where families can finally exhale, knowing their loved one is safe, valued, and genuinely cared for.
This isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am.

Owner
Ge Sun’s journey is deeply rooted in the values of compassion, respect, and unwavering dedication to the elderly. Growing up in a Chinese family that held deep reverence for its elders, Ge learned early on that caring for aging loved ones was not just a responsibility but an honor. In a culture where wisdom is cherished and the elderly are seen as the pillars of family and society, Ge developed a profound sense of duty toward ensuring that older generations are treated with dignity and respect.
This belief became the foundation for a lifelong mission—one that led Ge to a career as a social services investigator, standing on the front lines of elder care and advocacy. In this role, Ge has witnessed firsthand the challenges that aging individuals face, from neglect and isolation to inadequate care and financial exploitation. Investigating these cases has provided not only insight but also a deep sense of urgency—an understanding that many elderly individuals lack safe, supportive environments where they can truly thrive.
It is this firsthand experience, combined with cultural values and a strong sense of justice, that makes Ge uniquely suited to open a care facility for the elderly. More than just a place for aging individuals to reside, this facility will be a sanctuary where they receive compassionate, high-quality care tailored to their needs. Having worked closely with at-risk seniors, Ge understands what makes a care facility truly exceptional:
Personalized Attention – No two individuals age the same way. Ge’s investigative background has instilled a keen ability to assess each elder’s unique needs and ensure they receive customized care.
Safety and Advocacy – Years of working in social services have built a strong foundation in protecting vulnerable populations, ensuring that any facility led by Ge will uphold the highest ethical and safety standards.
Cultural Sensitivity and Inclusivity – With a background that emphasizes respect for elders, Ge is committed to creating an environment where residents feel valued, respected, and at home, particularly those from diverse backgrounds who may struggle to find culturally competent care.
Community Engagement – The best elder care facilities don’t just house seniors; they integrate them into a community where they can participate, engage, and experience joy in their later years.
For Ge, opening a care facility is not simply a business venture—it is a mission, a lifelong commitment to honoring those who came before. Every aspect of the facility will reflect this belief, ensuring that aging is not something to be feared, but embraced with dignity, support, and love.
By combining years of experience in elder protection, cultural understanding, and an unshakable passion for caregiving, Ge Sun is prepared to create a facility that sets a new standard for senior living—one where every resident is not just cared for but truly valued.
